FAIRPORT URBAN RENEWAL AGENCY (FURA) HOUSING CHOICE VOUCHER PROGRAM (SECTION 8) WAITING LIST CLOSING
The Village of Fairport Urban Renewal Agency administers a United States Department of Housing and Urban Development Housing Choice Voucher Program, (Section 8), which provides rental assistance to low-income households in eastern and southeastern Monroe County. It has been determined that there is an adequate pool of applicants for use of available program funding.
THEREFORE, THE AGENCY HAS DECIDED TO CLOSE THE WAITING LIST EFFECTIVE OCTOBER 3, 2023 AT 11:59 PM. NO NEW APPLICATIONS WILL BE ACCEPTED BY ANY METHOD AFTER THAT DATE. NOTICE WILL BE PROVIDED AT SUCH TIME AS THE LIST IS REOPENED
